Don Kidd
Executive Director
Don Kidd is the Executive Director of the Southern Colorado Technology Alliance (SCTA) and serves on its Board of Directors. Before joining SCTA, Don was a trusted advisor to senior leaders of defense companies, large and small, as well as senior leaders of our military, specializing in business management processes, business development, leadership development, war gaming and strategic planning. Don also served as Exelis’ Program Director for the SENSOR contract – overseeing nearly 700 people conducting depot-level maintenance, repair and upgrade; contractor logistics support; and modernization of the U.S.’s world-wide network of ground-based space control, missile warning and missile defense sensors.
Don retired from the U.S. Air Force with nearly 27 years of service, and is a recognized operational expert in fighter operations, space surveillance, space control, cyber operations, missile warning and defense, and base/installation management.
Don has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, an MBA from National University and a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the Air War College.
Dr. Rebecca Decker
Marketing and Business Engagement Manager
Dr. Rebecca Decker, DBA is the Marketing and Business Engagement Manager for Southern Colorado Technology Alliance (SCTA) and the Catalyst Campus. Becca launched her career as an imagery analyst and mission planner for the U-2 mission while serving as an enlisted member of the U.S. Air Force. Her Air Force enlistment eventually led to a civilian career in engineering, program management, and business development with industry-leading global Aerospace and Defense corporations including Boeing Company, BAE Systems, Booz Allen Hamilton, and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. Becca was awarded the 2016 Young Professional of the Year by the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
Becca earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in business administration and is a certified Project Management Professional. In 2015, Becca received a Doctorate of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Alliant International University in San Diego, CA.
